Please do not wait 24 hours to get your extensions wet. Waiting that long can increase your chances of developing an allergy called contact dermatitis. When done correctly, the adhesive used at your appointment cures almost instantly. It’s encouraged to begin washing your lashes the night of your appointment.
It is crucial to wash your lashes 2x a day, everyday. Once in the morning to get rid of sleep/eyelid crust build up and once at night to wash off dust and debris collected throughout the day. Failure to wash extensions can cause eye irritation, increasing chances of a lash allergy, damage to the natural lashes and poor retention. Go in with your lash cleanser in your skincare routine after your facial cleanser.
It's best to sleep on your back completely avoiding contact with your pillow. Sleeping on your stomach will increase friction on your pillow which will lead to premature fall out. If sleeping on side, lay your head on the edge of your arm, keeping the eye area elevated. Silk pillow cases are recommended.
Your extensions are waterproof and will last through swimming, sweat and tears. The only thing that's required afterwards is step #2. Please wash off salt minerals and residue which can lead to premature fall out.
The best makeup remover for your eyes when wearing extensions is your Prolong Lash Cleanser as it's designed for the eye area without damaging your lashes. Refer to your aftercare card for step-by-step instructions.
Avoid high heat at all costs. This includes lighters, grills, ovens, etc. Extensions are synthetic and flammable. Extreme exposure to high temperatures will de-curl your lashes and singe the tips. It will be impossible to brush through your extensions properly and may require a new set.
When showering, it's recommended to wash out shampoo and conditioner facing away from the shower head, like a hair salon. To speed up the drying process, dab, do not rub your extensions with a towel. An alternative is to dry using the "cool" setting on your blow dryer then finish by combing your lashes with your trusted spoolie.
Book your fills in advance for every 2-3 weeks. Lashes go through natural shedding and growth cycles, which is why regular maintenance is important to maintain a full look. Proper care can, however, increase time between required fill appointments.
If there is a reaction, discomfort, or major lash extension fall out within the first 5 days, it is the client's responsibility to inform us. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Activities
You may resume to your normal activities after your appointment. You're free to shower, swim, exercise, etc. I strongly recommend cleaning your lashes at end of each activity or day as salt minerals can cause premature shedding of extensions.
Heat
Lash extensions are synthetic and flammable. Extreme exposure to high temperatures will de-curl your lashes and singe the tips. It will be impossible to brush through your extensions properly. This includes opening your grill, oven, lighting a cigarette, joint/blunt, campfires, BBQ, and hair dryers for instance. So be careful! This doesn’t just apply to after the first 24 hours after your appointment but always. Singed lashes cannot be fixed and a removal plus full set will be required. The heat is no joke! Light your joints and cigarettes further from your eye area and keep the distance between you and your oven.
How to Sleep
It's best to sleep on your back completely avoiding contact with your pillow. Avoid sleeping on your side and stomach if you can. If sleeping on side, lay head on edge of pillow. Silk pillow cases are recommended, not cotton. By reducing friction, a silky smooth pillowcase helps keeps the lashes where they are meant to be, on your eyes.
Shower & Face Washing
Avoid putting face directly under running shower head. Wash hair leaning head back all the way to prevent soap, shampoo, and conditioner falling over face and lash extensions and limiting friction to your lash line — think hair salon. Recommend washing face separately. Avoid splashing water over face. Use a hot wet towel to wipe off soap suds. Repeat until squeaky clean! When drying off, do not rub with a towel. Instead, dab above and below your lashes. An alternative is to use your blowdryer on the cool setting to dry your lashes. Brush your lashes with your dry and clean spoolie (mascara wand) to separate each lash fibre and to reshape and refluff 'em back into place. Please take note of the products you're using around your face. When it comes to lash extensions, not all products are safe to use on/near them. Common body washes, soaps and lotions contain oil and alcohol — 2 ingredients that do not mix with lash extensions. Oil and alcohol can break the bond of the lash extension adhesive, which causes the extension to detach from the natural lash.
Cleaning your Lashes
The most important step in caring for your new lash extensions. Remember that lash extensions will not stick to dirty lashes so it is your responsibility to wash them to ensure a long and healthy lash life. Gently wash and brush lashes daily with an oil-free foaming lash cleanser. For your convenience, we offer an aftercare kit for purchase. It is best to use products designed for lash extensions and safe for the eyes. Failure to wash lash extensions will cause skin and eye irritation, damage to the natural lashes, and poor lash retention if they are not adequately cared for. Watch here to see how to wash your lashes.
Lash Growth & Fills
Highly recommend using lash serums and/or coconut and cold-pressed castor oil in between fills to strengthen and lengthen your natural lashes. Doing this will bring amazing results to your natural lashes and create a stronger canvas for your next lash appointment.
Book your fills in advance or once every 2-3 weeks (or when less than 50% of extensions remain). Lashes go through natural shedding and growth cycles, which is why regular maintenance is important to maintain a full look. Proper care can, however, increase time between required fill appointments.
Makeup
Use glycol-free eye products. The ingredient weakens the adhesive bond between the lash extension and natural lash, resulting in poor retention. No waterproof eye makeup. Recommend powder-based eye makeup. Avoid direct makeup application on lash line. Must remove makeup and cleanse lashes at end of day to maintain a healthy lash line and aid in retention. Btw, no mascara — but we already knew that.
Lash Shed
The average person has 80-100+ natural lashes per eye. We lose 2-5 natural lashes across both eyes every day! This means we can lose up to 21 lashes per week (or 42 in 2 weeks, 63 in 3 weeks). This is why regular fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full coverage look and to remove grown out extensions.
